In July 2021 I worked on what had been a goal for a long time – producing a family history display on one of the blank walls in our downstairs hallway. I had found out about how to produce files on PowerPoint that could be sent to a company called mixtiles.com which turned the images into framed pictures which could adhere to any flat surface – and allowed re-positioning. By August, when my wife’s sisters arrived for a visit, they could see their family tree in an easy-to-view format!
I did a presentation for the Fiske Genealogical Library in January 2022 about my project, but much of it described types of image files and free tools to work with them.
